Beasley Cycles have been building, servicing and selling bicycles for close to 100 years. Originally opening the first shop in Richmond in about 1919, this shop was open for approximately 12 years. The shop then headed west of Melbourne to the current site at 127 Buckley Street, Footscray, where it has been proudly looking after its customers for close to 77 years. The shop is currently being run by the third generation of Beasley's; John and Vicki.

For over 20 years, A-grade bike racing, decathlon and triathlon racing, racing on the track, and bike mechanics have taken up the majority of my waking hours – those who know me personally know that they don’t stop talking about bikes, and they take a lot of pride in the quality of my workmanship.
After working as a mechanic and salesperson in other large bike shops, they have opened up Happy Wheels because they noticed that there was an opportunity to set up a business that allowed the business to spend the time to get the most out of my customers’ bikes, from both a performance and aesthetic perspective.
